smarTrike Wonder Stroller Trike - Moonlight
Pickup available at Kiddie Country
Usually ready in 24 hours
At 5.9 kg the Wonder is the lightest trike smarTrike make, and that single figure is the whole argument for it. A pram or trike that is heavy to lift gets left at home on the days it would have been most useful.
It works through four stages — parent-pushed stroller from 10 months, then trike, then training, then free riding with the parent handle removed — so it spans roughly two and a half years without needing to be replaced.
Moonlight is a soft, cool grey-blue on a black aluminium frame. It folds in three seconds to 54 x 25 x 34 cm, the smallest footprint in the range.

Light enough to actually use
Weight is the specification that decides whether a trike lives in the boot or the garage. The Wonder is built on aluminium rather than steel, balanced so it can be carried one-handed, and folds small enough to go in with the shopping still there. It is the entry point to the range and, for most families, the one that gets used every week.

FAQs
What age does it start at?
10 months, once your child sits unaided — the Wonder seat does not recline. For younger babies the Wonder Max reclines to 140° and begins at 6 months.
How does it differ from the Wonder Max?
The Wonder is lighter (5.9 kg vs 6.95 kg) with a two-stage canopy and the smallest fold. The Wonder Max reclines, starts earlier and carries a more cushioned seat.
Is it suitable as a first trike?
Yes. It begins as a parent-pushed stroller with the pedals locked and converts to a trike your child steers and pedals themselves.
Is a stroller trike as safe as a pram?
It is certified to stroller safety standards rather than toy standards, with a five-point harness, shock-absorbing front wheel and one-foot rear brake.
