At Kiddie Country, your rights are protected under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

These rights apply in addition to any manufacturer or extended warranties and cannot be excluded. If a product you purchase has a major failure that cannot be repaired or replaced, you are entitled to choose between:

  • A refund

  • An exchange for a similar item

  • Keeping the product and receiving compensation for any reduction in value

Where a product fault is confirmed to be a manufacturer’s defect, you will be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with ACL guidelines and the manufacturer’s warranty terms.


Conditions of Claim

To process a claim, the following conditions must be met:

  • A valid proof of purchase (Kiddie Country receipt) must be provided.


When Claims May Be Refused

Your claim may be declined if:

  • The product is outside the warranty period

  • No fault is found after assessment by Kiddie Country or the supplier

  • The fault is caused by misuse, accidental damage, abnormal use, neglect, or unauthorised repairs or modifications

  • The issue relates to normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, fading, fabric discolouration, tyre wear)

  • The problem is due to incorrect storage, cleaning, or maintenance

  • The product is lost, stolen, or submitted without proof of purchase

  • The issue relates to consumable parts or accessories (e.g., batteries, inner tubes, rain covers, fabrics), unless deemed faulty at the time of purchase

  • Additional exclusions apply as specified in the manufacturer’s warranty


Returning Products

If your product is found to have a fault covered by the ACL or manufacturer’s warranty, Kiddie Country will cover reasonable return costs. Where no fault is found, return costs may be the responsibility of the customer.


Manufacturer Warranties

Most of our products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These warranties begin from the invoice date (not the first use) and vary depending on the brand and product. Please refer to the individual product warranty details for specific coverage and conditions.
