Can I return something I've purchased?
In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), if you would like to return an item because you have simply changed your mind, Kiddie Country will offer you a store credit (not a refund) or exchange - simply contact us within 14 days of your order date.
This is provided that the item:
- Is returned with a proof of purchase (receipt)
- Is unused, in its original packaging as well as containing the instruction manuals and any accessories.
This does not apply to any clearance or discontinued items as well as any safety products such as car seats and their accessories. Some hygiene products are unable to be returned unless they are faulty.
CANCELLATIONS
We endeavour to send your order as soon as possible through the most safe, efficient, and economical method of delivery. If you request a cancellation for your order, or part thereof, you will receive a Credit Note of the amount you paid for the item (not a refund), including shipping.
However, In the event of products not being available for supply to you after your order has been placed, we will issue you with a credit note or refund for either part of the order or for the entire order. All refunds will be made the same way as the original payment method was made in favour of the person or entity on the original transaction. If your order has been dispatched, please refer to Return section above.
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase but if the item you have purchased from Kiddie Country is deemed to be faulty; you are entitled to an exchange, repair, or refund, under the Australian Consumer Law. Kiddie Country reserves the right to inspect the item and contact the Manufacturer for assessment.
If the item is assessed and found to be faulty due to the Manufacturers fault, you will be entitled to an exchange, refund or repair as determined by the Manufacturer under the Australian Consumer Law guidelines.
To determine whether you are entitled to an exchange, refund, or repair; the below criteria must also be met:
- You must have Proof of Purchase ( Kiddie Country receipt)
- Where an item is subject to accidental damage, misuse or neglect, Kiddie Country will not provide an exchange, refund, or repair
Warranty periods do vary for each product and this period commences from date of sale not the date of first use. If goods are found to be defective (or part of them), We, Kiddie Country and the Manufacturer will:
- Repair or replace goods (or part of them)
- Provide a refund
Any costs incurred by the customer to return the product for repair to Kiddie Country will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
